15 Most Notorious Company Men In WWE History

12. William Regal

When William Regal joined the WWF/E, it was only after he made a critical mistake in WCW. Not wanting to be made a fool of at the hands of Bill Goldberg, Regal decided to go into business for himself and performed €˜shoot-style€™ moves, which ended up making Goldberg look bad by comparison. After he was fired by WCW, he learned a big lesson: always do what the company wants, not what€™s best for you. During both of his stints in WWE, Regal had to deal with ridiculousness. First, he was presented as €˜the real man€™s man€™, a cheesy lumberjack gimmick which, if rumors are to be believed, was supposed to be revealed to be gay. (In hindsight, Regal did kiss a man on the cheek during a Valentine€™s Day episode of SmackDown, so there€™s that). But that€™s not the main reason why Regal€™s on this list. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFxfApbU16A It takes a very special kind of company man to actually get down on his knees and kiss another man€™s buttocks on live TV. But, that was one of the lengths Regal was willing to go to in order to entertain the WWE Universe and go along with Vince€™s wishes. As JR himself said, €œThe dignified William Regal has resorted to kissing Mr. McMahon€™s ass€. Apart from having to kiss Mr. McMahon€™s ass, Regal has also had to pretend to drink tea that Chris Jericho had allegedly urinated in, which was also one of the more humiliating storylines he has had to deal with. But Regal has proven himself a trooper who€™s willing to do whatever he can to help the WWE, which includes many different roles like commentator, on-screen authority figure, trainer, and talent scout. Only a true company man would take on such a diversity of roles in the WWE.
