15 Most WTF Moments In WWE SummerSlam History

7. Shane McMahon Takes A Sick Bump (2000)

A solidly enjoyable match for the WWF Hardcore Title between champ Shane McMahon and Steve Blackman became legendary thanks to its closing spot, which saw McMahon climbing up a metal part of the arena set, taking him roughly 40 feet into the air (rather than "50 or 75 feet" as JR claimed).

Blackman hit McMahon with his kendo stick three times, causing McMahon to fall backwards onto the (conveniently padded) floor, to the crowd's utter delight. Blackman then climbed down a little and delivered a flying elbow drop onto McMahon for the win.

If anyone ever felt like Shane McMahon got where he did because of nepotism, this was at least proof that he had the balls to back up his place: the fact that he fell backwards makes it all the more terrifying, and along with Mankind's King of the Ring 1998 Hell in a Cell bump, it's one of the most memorably insane spots in WWE history.
