Added to that, John Cena had stood up for Ryder on television during his efforts to get noticed and get over, which meant that - according to ancient WWE wisdom - they two were now best friends. However, Cena was in a blood feud with Kane, whod just returned with a new mask and a nastier version of his serial killer schtick going on, and who was hell bent on killing Zack Ryder for being friends with Cena.
