3. He Hasn't Had Any Medical Testing

Given Daniel Bryan's high-profile medically enforced retirement and the issues Angle has struggled with in the past in terms of his health and fitness, you'd think that his medical condition would be top of the company's concerns when it comes to considering his in-ring return.

By the sound of it, that return isn't in the immediate pipeline, because Angle says he hasn't "taken a physical and I'm not going to get my hopes up until I do that."

Having said that, Angle doesn't rule out wrestling as part of his current storyline:

"Right now we're concentrating on my behind-the-scenes role. I have not had a physical yet and I don't expect to until they have something more in detail of what they want me to do down the line. We haven't talked wrestling very nonchalantly. But is there a possibility? Oh yeah, there's a definite possibility. I think more likely, it will happen - I don't know if it will have anything to do with the new storyline that's happening right now with Corey Graves and the texting and emails, but I'm sure it will happen."
