Kevin and Chris talk about how crazy it is that the locker room is full of so many of KO's close friends and guys he's worked with for years on the independent scene, and what a surreal feeling it is that they've all been relatively successful in such a short time.

Talk turns to Finn Balor - someone Kevin had never met prior to joining NXT - and Jericho asks how he felt when Balor got injured. Owens says he saw it happen but didn't realize it was serious because he was able to finish the match.

When he saw him win the title he got emotional because the two had become very close. He knew that Finn had a blast in NXT but that he obviously wanted to make it to the main roster, and the two often talked about how conflicting it was to enjoy NXT so much while still having the goal of making the jump.

Owens said it was incredible seeing Finn get everything that he had worked so hard for, pointing out that it was almost like WWE was making up for lost time by making him the top face on Raw right away. Those two years he spent in NXT counted and was the reason he was able to be placed in that spot, and then to have to watch him relinquish the title the next night in front of his parents was heart-wrenching for Kevin.

KO says he told him the same thing he told Seth Rollins when he hurt his knee: that he never lost the title and that when he comes back the fans will be thrilled to see him and he'll be bigger than ever, so there's a silver lining there.

At the same time, he admits that he saw it as a door that was opened for someone else and he made his mind up to be the one to kick that door down.
