15 Things We Learned From Sheamus On Talk Is Jericho

5. Working Strong & Turning Heel

Jericho says that the thing he's always appreciated about Sheamus is that he's a strong worker - and you can literally hear him grit his teeth while he's describing it - then points out the difference between working strong and working stiff, saying that the latter can get people hurt. Sheamus says he's never been a technician and he isn't going to go around do any high flying moves, so the one thing he's always prided himself on is bringing a "really hard style to WWE" and sparking something in his opponent and bringing out the best in them. He wants the fans to watch his matches and think "I wouldn't want to be hit by him" and says now that he's in a different role he can try and bring out of the babyfaces what he wanted from himself when he was a face. He adds that he felt misplaced as a face because his style limited him from working a natural style, and is loving being back to working with traditional babyface workers like Daniel Bryan, Ziggler and Neville. He says even on the microphone he just feels back at home, brand new and on top of the world.
