15 Things You Might Have Missed From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown

2. Last Man Standing Doesn't Strictly Favour Shinsuke Nakamura

On one hand, a Last Man Standing match means Shinsuke Nakamura doesn't have to pin or submit AJ Styles to beat him for the WWE Title. On the other, the 10-count stipulation Naka chose doesn't strictly favour him or stack the deck against Styles.

It's a level playing field, something a cowardly, low-blow loving heel like Shinsuke should have tried to avoid at all costs.

That aside, the way WWE had Nakamura reveal the stip was awesome. He started counting every time AJ hit the floor during their brawl, and that was better than any promo could have been. It's just a shame fans hardly responded when Nakamura stood on top of the announce desk and screamed "Last Man Standing Match".

That wasn't the only time his unique promo style proved problematic.
