WWE announcers are prone to telling the odd white lie to help keep stories motoring along when the past doesn't suit their current agenda. That's fine, and it's forgivable when it only happens occasionally. What isn't forgivable though is when one makes up their own history for no reason at all.

Byron Saxton did it this very week.

When trying to hype the upcoming Rusev vs. The Undertaker match at Friday's Greatest Royal Rumble show, Saxton said that 'Taker hadn't worked a Casket stipulation in well over a decade. That's simply not true. In fact, it's under 10 years since he worked one.

The Undertaker's latest Casket match came against Big Show at Survivor Series 2008 in November that year, meaning Byron's decision to fabricate history was pointless.
