You may have noticed that Randy Orton shouted, "stupid" several times at Sunil Singh after blasting Jinder Mahal's little buddy with an RKO on SmackDown. Older fans will know what Orton was referencing with the remark.

Back in 2009, Randy was feuding with Kofi Kingston, and the rivalry would end up having a detrimental impact on Kofi's main event aspirations. During one match between the pair, Orton visibly became upset at Kingston's bump off his finishing move and shouted he was "stupid" as the babyface lay prone on the mat.

Randy has turned this real-life annoyance into a character trait several times since, and the latest came on SmackDown. It's a nice little nod towards history.
