4. Dolph Gets Meta

Last week's SmackDown saw Dolph Zigler get super meta by diving into the Shawn Michaels comparisons that have followed him around for years, with 'HBK' stirring the pot. Not only did 'The Show-Off' chastise Michaels for taking WWE's money and coming back in Saudi Arabia, but he ended up knocking his block off with a Superkick intended for The Miz, sparking speculation of a potential match between the duo later down the road.

Zigglypuff followed this with a strong troll play last night. 'Sexy Boy' hit the PA system while Seth Rollins was in the ring, ready to compete. This got a good pop, but it wasn't Michaels. Instead, Ziggler strutted out from the back, imitating his former hero, claiming that it looked like Seth had "lost his smile," before ripping into the "embarrassing" Goldberg and Michaels for coming back and "taking our spots away."

Let's hope there's a satisfying end to this, because playing to Dolph's long-running career narratives is working well for him at the moment.
