15 Wrestlers WWE Debuted In The WORST Way Possible
13. Sin Cara Botches His Entrance

Debut: Technically, the Sin Cara character had already debuted by the time he wrestled his first match under WWE's banner. The mysterious masked man, who was hyped up as a ready-made replacement for Rey Mysterio in that role, had saved babyfaces from attacks the week prior to working Primo on the 11 April 2011 edition of flagship show Raw.
Hopes were high. Incredibly high.
Why It Was Bad: Cara got off to the worst start when his flashy trampoline-aided entrance went wrong. He got tangled up in the ropes during his swan dive spot, and there was no hiding it - WWE's cameras shot this up close, so even the announce team had to semi-acknowledge things before quickly moving on and pretending Sin Cara was the second coming.
It was lame, and things only worsened from there. Back in 2002, Mysterio's debut match vs. Chavo Guerrero on SmackDown had showcased everything people wanted to see from the incoming former WCW man. Fast forward to 2011 and...could anybody really say the same about Cara vs. Primo? It was a basic match that failed to ever properly get going.
The one time Mistico never seemed comfortable in WWE, and the company itself would end up losing interest in him before switching the gimmick onto someone else. Cara was the victim of too much hype, sure, but his matches were nothing special at all and that's on him.
He needed to find a way to stand out, but all he did was look like a less impressive version of Rey during his first match.
