15 WTF Moments From WWE SmackDown (July 7)

I guess Randy Orton being announced as Brock Lesnar's opponent is a WTF Moment, he has been on the shelf for a tremendously long time I suppose.

It's just a bit of a 'meh' choice isn't it? I know Randy will go down as one of the greats due to his seamless in-ring abilities and the accolades he has to his name, but over the last few years he's failed to garner any sort of reaction from me. He's always just... there. He's in the upper echelons of the card and never seems to pull up any trees.

If this match results in anything but an easy Brock Lesnar win, I'll do something that I'll announce after Lesnar's UFC 200 match at the weekend as I believe the result of that match will have a baring on the result of this one.

There is a WTF Moment in this announcement though. Believe it or not, despite breaking into WWE around the same time having been part of that fabled class in OVW, this is the first time Brock and Orton will meet on PPV.

14 years in the making this match is. Staggering. Looking at the paths each man's career has taken inside the squared circle, I can't believe they've never been in a match together on PPV.
