British Bulldog only competed in five Royal Rumble matches, but when he did compete, he made it count. In all but one appearance, he was in the ring for over twenty minutes and in 1995, he almost won the match itself before being eliminated by Shawn Michaels at the very end. Davey Boy Smith is a wrestler who many younger fans may not have heard of, but in the early years of the Rumble he gave off an air of legitimacy and his impressive times in these matches only helped him.
