7. Bobby Lashley

Just a tick above his hype man, Bobby Lashley lands in the middle of the pack for 2018 debuts and returns.

But regardless, you have to peg Lashley’s return as a disappointment. The Almighty returned on the Raw after WrestleMania to much fanfare after 10-plus years away from the company. He was a rising star while in WWE, and became a four-time champ in TNA/Impact.

As a babyface, Lashley was bland and boring, save for a brief feud with Roman Reigns, where he was wildly cheered as he said what everyone was thinking: Reigns had gotten numerous chances at Brock Lesnar and it was his turn. But that ultimately flamed out.

Lashley’s fall turn with Lio Rush’s help reignited him a little, though lately he’s cooled off once again. The good thing is that he’s capable of heating up in a hurry if the writers could figure out how to do it. At worst, at least Lashley is a credible threat on the roster, which is more than you could say for someone like No Way Jose.
