18 Things You Might Have Missed From WWE Backlash 2018

10. It Took One Curb Stomp To Beat The Miz

Whilst it's not really a major complaint, it was rather weird to see The Miz succumb to only one Curb Stomp at Backlash. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but Seth Rollins had already powered his way out of two instances of Miz's Skull-Crushing Finale earlier.

When WWE use these back-and-forth finisher-fests, they typically let both men do some kicking out. It was interesting that Miz didn't.

Keep in mind the Curb Stomp was once a move WWE blacklisted, so it wouldn't have been inconceivable for Rollins and Miz to use it as a transition move here. Instead, it was the match-winner.
