18 Ups & 12 Downs From The WWE SmackDown Live Era

A story that had absolutely no right to get over considering its roots and the people involved, Shane McMahon and The Miz' unlikely bond that began with the problematic Crown Jewel Best In The World tournament ended with heel turn that at long last permitted Shane McMahon to dial up the d*ckhead for evil rather than good.

In between all that was a Tag Team Title reign that genuinely felt earned, the ups and downs of George Mizanin and break-up violent enough to ensure perennial douchebag Miz actually got cheered in time for their WrestleMania showdown.

Malleable work from the most malleable wrestler in the company and the ordinarily stiff son-of-the-owner, this was revelatory in its infancy, even if 'The Money' had to come up trumps every time they fought.
