19 Nastiest WWE Breakups

2. Nailz

Nailz Vince McMahon
WWE

Let's get this one out of the way: Nailz wasn't the sharpest in the shed, amirite?!

Anyway, despite his brief run in the company, Kevin "Nailz" Wacholz made quite the mark in WWE backstage lore. Brought in as an ex-con, the character supposedly came from the same prison the Big Bossman worked at in Cobb County, Georgia. Disgruntled about his hard time, Nailz feuded with the Bossman, which was blown off in a "Night Stick on a Pole" match at Survivor Series 1992 (and no, Vince Russo was not in WWE at this point).

Despite the company positioning him for a feud with the Undertaker, Nailz would be released in December after an altercation with Vince McMahon. So the story goes: Nailz cornered Vince in his office and screamed at him about his SummerSlam payoff. The argument got physical with Nailz knocking over Vince and choking him.

After getting fired, Nailz filed a wrongful termination lawsuit, alleging that Vince tried to have his way with him sexually (not kidding). Then in 1994, Wacholz was a witness in the Vince McMahon steroid trial, but his testimony was thrown out after this exchange with the defense:

"Do you have a personal vendetta against Vince McMahon?"

"No."

"Do you HATE Vince McMahon?"

"Yes."

As we said: not the sharpest.
