You NEED to watch this promo. The words I type simply can't do it justice. It harked back to the realism put on by the likes of Bret Hart in 1997. It's one of those promos that hits home. But there was a WTF Moment tucked away in there. Crews told of how his parents divorced and he spent the majority of time in Uganda with his dad, where they watched Monday Night RAW together in the mid 90s... I don't know about you, but that took me aback slightly. We know how far WWE reaches around the world today, but for a family in Uganda to be watching the product live in 1995 is simply mind-boggling.
