2 Released WWE Stars Spotted Backstage At TNA Tapings
Former WWE stars were seen behind the curtain at TNA's recent IMPACT tapings.
Fightful Select is reporting that former WWE stars Mace and Mansoor (collectively known as the Maximum Male Models during the latter part of their stints in the promotion) were spotted backstage at TNA's tapings in Orlando on Friday.
Both are free agents after being released in September 2023, and have started popping up on the independent circuit recently. There's no word yet on whether or not the pair were just visiting friends backstage, or if they were there for talks with TNA management.
Fightful didn't report on that side of things, but did say the one time Male Models were in town.
Former New Japan man Alex Zayne was also reportedly on hand behind the curtain. There's a ton of excitement surrounding TNA's rebrand right now; ex-WWE'ers Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) and Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke) recently signed with the reinvigorated organisation.
Will Mace and Mansoor be next in line to ink contracts? That remains to be seen, so any fan comments on social media should be taken with a pinch of salt. Reputable outlets like Fightful will keep everyone posted should anything official happen.
