Ready for another mini-moan? You got it.

AEW seems intent on pushing women to the forefront of these specials for the sake of it. No, don't take that as an unnecessary ambush on the division - showcasing female stars like Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa is fine when their matches merit it, but neither Battle Of The Belts main event has hit home.

Britt's match with Riho on the last one was so-so, and Rosa's latest defence against Nyla Rose was hardly pulsating stuff either. This was as routine a title defence as one could imagine. Ask yourself, did you honestly think Rose was leaving with the title here? Probably not.

There are genuine concerns that Thunder is flagging now she has the belt as well. Rosa was way more interesting as the hunter instead of the hunted, and All Elite's creative nucleus really has to start drumming up better challengers for her soon.

Anyone else over Nyla in the monster challenger role?
