2. Rush Goes Temporarily Blind?

There was also one horrible spot during the headliner.

Daniels chucked Jose into the ring, then slid in just as Rush went to check on his associate. The problem? There's just no way Rush could've missed Chris sliding back inside the ring. It happened right in front of him, but the heel was forced to pretend he had tunnel vision then get rolled up for a near fall.

That looked awful, and it was uncharacteristically sloppy from two veteran workers like this. Is Rush blind? Was he so concerned by Jose's health that he managed to block out his surroundings? The whole spot made him look stupid, being brutally honest - the announcers didn't even know what to say about it.

Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and JR ignored the silliness of what occurred to call the near fall straight. Again, it's pretty surprising that someone as experienced as Rush could make a mistake like this one. It was so amateurish looking.
