2 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (31 Oct - Results & Review)

Erm...why are Rey Fenix and Shinsuke Nakamura still working together as a team? Surely that was engineered as a one off for last week's edition of SmackDown. Just how many different tag partners does one company want to give Fenix?! He's being passed around more than Marty Jannetty in the mid-1990s at this point, and that'll be a concern if it continues.

MFT beat Rey and Shinsuke last week, but WWE want to press repeat on it already. It’ll be a good enough match in execution, but why bother? Like, what do they hope to accomplish with this? Fenix and Shin aren’t even a proper team. Triple H is only trying to find something for these guys to do, sure, but this ain’t it. He better hope that Rey vs. Talla Tonga is a surprise package.

Seriously, get to the title switch and put the belts on MFT already. Again, the question must be asked: What do Solo Sikoa’s crew have to prove against Rey and Shinsuke? They beat them once, and they'll probably beat them again. If the babyfaces are going to be a permanent unit, then dropping back to back bouts to Solo's gang won't do them any favours anyway.

The slight plus side to all of this is that Sikoa's MFT group does come across as a bit of a threat. Even so, get a move on and have them take the titles from The Wyatt Sicks as soon as possible. There's no need to hold things up the way WWE are. It's already starting to get tedious.

Get Fenix in there with Ilja Dragunov pronto too.
