2 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 28)

1. Curtain Jerking

Jey Uso Roman Reigns
WWE

As revealed in the intro, there was minimal Roman Reigns on this week's SmackDown. Typically for a majestic bastard like he is though, Roman managed to shine brightly despite only being on screen for a few short minutes. His mental mindf*ckery of Jey Uso was beautiful.

Reigns cleverly pointed out that Jey immediately went back to "jerking the curtain" when his brother got involved in his career again. "Main Event Jey Uso" gave way to 'Opening Match Jey Uso' so Jimmy could selfishly hog the spotlight, according to Reigns and his ever-watchful associate Paul Heyman.

What a pair of devious souls. This meddling made for stunning TV.

WWE scripted their lines well, and Roman added his own trademark sneer. He's ridiculously good at switching from manipulator to Mafia Godfather-esque 'Head Of The Table', and Uso played the scolded little puppy like a pro. Even minimal Reigns is excellent, and that says it all.
