20 Absolute Best Wrestlers In The World Right Now

1. Jon Moxley

Best in the world 2021
AEW

Jon Moxley is demonstrably excellent at everything required to be a great television wrestler in 2021 - and nobody is more consistent.

Other wrestlers may peak higher, but they'd kill for Mox's steadiness. Almost every episode of Dynamite sees him cut a believable promo that sells him as a character and performer while putting over whatever he's talking about as the most important thing in the world, which is what a promo is supposed to do. People shouldn't just be talking about the man with the microphone, but his subjects as well, and while Kenny Omega takes a more unorthodox approach, Moxley is selling Revolution the hard way. He's talking you into pulling out your credit card.

His character (which he projects effortlessly) is funny, affable, and endearing, yet rugged and hard. Not since John McClane has the world seen such an action hero. He's genuinely cool, Moxley, and bad*ss without coming off as tryhard.

Really, this is the kind of run every wrestler must dream of upon leaving WWE. 2020 was a banner year but Moxley's form has carried over into 2021, and who'd bet against this rugged craftsman from delivering again at Revolution?
