Steve Austin was running down Booker T on an episode of SmackDown in 2001, calling for him to come out and face the Texas Rattlesnake in the ring.

Tazz was on commentary and seemingly had enough of Austin's disparaging words, and decided to head to the ring to confront Austin himself.

Upon realising he had been joined in the ring, Austin ran Tazz down with a line that may have made the Most Miserable Man on the Planet just a little bit more miserable.

'Unless Booker T got real short, and real fat, real quick, you ain't no Booker T!'

You can almost see the sadness in Tazz's face, the realisation that his in-ring days were behind him and his place was now behind the announce desk.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
