Bret "The Hitman" Hart is undoubtedly one of the best Canadian superstars the WWE has ever employed. This is a man who referred to himself as "the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be". Few disagreed with him then and few do now. He wrestled for WWE throughout the 80s and 90s, before jumping ship to WCW following the infamous Montreal Screwjob. Famed for submission tactics and perfect in-ring technique, Hart is one of the best technical performers in the history of professional wrestling. Part of the famed Hart family (his niece currently wrestles as Natalya), Bret is an iconic figure in the development of WWE as the television powerhouse it is today.
Freelance film journalist and fan of professional wrestling. Usually found in a darkened screening room looking for an aisle seat and telling people to put away their mobile phones. Also known to do a bit of stand-up comedy, so I'm used to the occasional heckle.
