The most recent match on this list, Bobby Lashley vs. Drew Galloway only took place on June 12, 2016. Lashley's career has been an interesting one, he was after all at one point considered a shoe-in to crack the WWE main event scene. In similar fashion, Galloway's career hasn't exactly been plain sailing.

It's hard to argue that the Scotsman is a more well-rounded performer than Lashley, but the pair meshed well at Slammiversary. Impact Wrestling may not be the most fashionable show in 2016, but the promotion have made a concerted effort to change that since the turn of the year, making the program more enjoyable.

A large part of that success has been the build towards Galloway vs. Lashley. Winning by knockout, the latter captured the TNA Heavyweight Title. The fanfare could arguably have been better post-match, the bout was definitely deserving of a louder crowd.

Galloway and Lashley can be proud of themselves for entering killer performances, slowly building towards a satisfying conclusion. The match itself was great, and in another time for TNA this match would be more heralded by fans.
