After spending years fighting for the chance to finally lift a world title in front of a full live crowd, DM Hunk himself finally did exactly that at WrestleMania 40... for about five minutes.

Drew McIntyre's World Heavyweight Championship story in this new era surely isn't over, though. And following on from having that title ripped away by a combination of an incensed CM Punk and opportunistic Damian Priest, 'The Scottish Warrior' will likely stop at nothing to reclaim that prize.

At time of writing, Drew may not have officially re-signed with WWE, but his putting of pen to paper on a new deal is surely inevitable. They've just announced a damn Clash at the Castle show in his actual home country of Scotland for June.

Would WWE really be confident enough to book a Scottish PLE if they didn't think the biggest wrestling star from that very place would be sticking around?

Expect Drew to Claymore his way to world title glory once again either before or during that OVO Hydro event, then. And who knows, that particular Scottish showdown may even include a certain Punker playing situational heel on the night - if that triceps is fully healed up by then, of course.
