Nikkita Lyons could - and probably would - be on WWE's main roster by now if it weren't for a consistent stream of gruelling injuries since she arrived in NXT in 2022. She's been sidelined since NXT's 9 January episode, which, depressingly, was one month after she returned from a torn ACL and meniscus that forced her to miss the entirety of 2023.

The good news is that she underwent surgery at the start of the year and is nearing a return, with Lyons eyeing a return in time for NXT Halloween Havoc. That'll go down sometime in October.

The 24-year-old has been high on WWE's radar since her debut for the organisation, so much so that she was earmarked for an NXT Women's Championship run only months into her WWE tenure. Here's hoping her injury issues are now behind her.

Returning: Within the next three months.
