20 Late 90's WCW Stars You Totally Don't Remember

16. Lodi

Making his full WCW debut in 1997, Lodi replaced Stevie Richards in Raven's 'Flock' stable. During his time as one of Raven's henchmen, the guy struggled to really make an impression, but he did have a wacky look (complete with mutton chop facial hair). Perhaps the most memorable nuance to the character was his penchant for holding up signs to the crowd, rather than talking. Of course, that particular idea had been nabbed from 'Sign Guy' Dudley over in ECW. It was really the only character aspect that WCW would give Lodi, right up until he formed a rather controversial tag-team with another lower mid-card act. Lenny Lane was another straggler on the roster, and he approached Lodi with the idea of forming a tandem called 'The West Hollywood Blondes'. A play on the Steve Austin and Brian Pillman 'Hollywood Blondes' team from the early-90's, the duo didn't have as much success as their predecessors. Forming in 1999, the unit were quickly removed from television after complaints about their homosexual nature being unsuitable. They would later return under various guises, but Lodi was released in mid-2000, and has only wrestled on the indies since.
