With Vince McMahon Jnr as owner, the WWF revolutionised the industry. McMahon was smart enough to have the vision for a fully national wrestling show, rather than the regional territory system that had long been established. He looked to put the territories out of business, largely by spending big money to acquire wrestlers and television slots.
