20 Most Horrifically Stupid Things That Ever Happened In WWE

17. Patterson Vs. Brisco In A Hardcore Evening Gown Match

The year 2000 is probably the best year in WWE history, but at King of the Ring 2000 they did something that was foolish. Fans knew Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson as retired wrestlers known as "The Stooges" of Vince McMahon. They were also part of the Hardcore Title picture because this was when anybody could win the title due to the 24/7 rule. After Patterson beat Brisco for the title, he was dressed like a woman and then Brisco did the same thing. Vince McMahon felt like the best way to settle this rivalry was to put these two Hall of Famers in a "Hardcore Evening Gown Match" at the King of the Ring 2000 PPV. This was another example of Vince having this very weird sense of humor where he wanted to put his associates out there in a comedy hardcore match while wearing dresses. There was barely a reaction to most of what they did while the announcers Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler made jokes during the whole match. If you're wondering, Crash Holy woke up the crowd by attacking both guys and left with the Hardcore Title after knocking out Patterson with a garbage can. The real losers were the fans.
