WWE booked two ostensible dream matches for RAW Reunion, and both were quickly dispensed with to get to the real selling point: ageing douchebags reliving old glories on live TV, in the case of Seth Rollins Vs. AJ Styles.

The match was a total afterthought, and not particularly good while it lasted. Just as the ‘OC’ interfered, Shawn Michaels and Triple H arrived on the scene. The old men scared off the brand new faction close to their physical primes in storylines, before the Outsiders and the New Age Outlaws arrived to…outnumber the heels.

This wasn’t too damaging by the standards of this sort of thing—in that the OC weren’t buried into the core of the earth—but it was still senseless and pathetic.

It was also bizarre…
