20 Scariest Wrestling Moments Ever

7. The Undertaker Sacrifices Mideon

The Undertaker turned heel in late 1998, but following a loss to Steve Austin in December, he briefly disappeared. Meanwhile, Dennis Knight (the former Phineas Godwinn) showed up on Raw for the first time in months, excited that "he" had invited him. Knight's optimism turned to horror when he was kidnapped by The Acolytes and kept prisoner in a makeshift dungeon deep within an arena.

In January of 1999, The Undertaker returned with Paul Bearer, Faarooq, and Bradshaw by his side. In what would come to be known as the beginning of The Ministry of Darkness stable, a robed Undertaker sat in a throne and addressed WWE's fans before turning his attention to Knight, who was incapacitated and strapped to an altar.

Undertaker then took a knife and carved his symbol in Knight's chest, sacrificing him and creating the entity known as Mideon. Undertaker finished by announcing to fans that "now you will know why you are afraid of the dark." Scary.
