In August of 2015, Jushin Thunder Liger the best made his WWE debut by defeating NXT's Tyler Breeze. Old school fans rejoiced, and for good reason: while Liger has wrestled only one match for WWE (so far!), his frequent tours of WCW throughout the 1990s are the stuff of legend. While Liger was never really a regular member of the WCW roster, he'd often be imported to work major shows, including several Starrcades and the first episode of Monday Nitro.

At SuperBrawl II, he teamed with Brian Pillman to take on the overpowered dream team of Ricky Steamboat and Nikita Koloff, and at Starrcade '91 the "lethal lottery" forced him to team with human beef side Bill Kazmaier, which is pretty fascinating to watch. In '95, he wrestled Chris Benoit, and in '96 he was brought in to battle Rey Mysterio. He also had a fairly storied rivalry with the pre-crazy version of Brian Pillman, as well as under-the-radar classics with the likes of Dean Malenko and Último Dragón on random Nitros between 1995 and 1998.
