Were not sure if anybody understood entirely what the point of these figures were. Based off when they were released however (2000), it is probably fair to speculate that since WCW was such a toxic brand, they were trying to make their wrestlers unrecognisable on the odd chance that someone might pick these toys up thinking they were something else. A zombified version of Sting? Why the hell not? Its not like this toy could possibly give children nightmares, or make them petrified of Sting when they see him on TV or anything. As for the Sid Vicious one that exposes his enormous brain, its hard not to find this kind of ironic considering how Sid isnt exactly known for his colossal brainpower.
