20 Superstars Who Only Had One Championship Reign In WWE

Gail Kim Women's Championship
WWE

Alongside contemporaries such as Awesome Kong, Gail Kim revolutionised the way women's wrestling was presented in the US. She was a huge star in TNA (now Impact), winning their Knockouts Championship seven times and becoming their first female Hall of Famer in 2016. As for her time in WWE, well...

After weeks of teasing via vignettes and video packages, Kim made her debut in 2003 as part of a Battle Royal for the WWE Women's Championship. Kim shocked everyone when she outlasted the entire field to not only win the match but capture the championship on her first televised appearance for the promotion.

Her time at the top of the women's division was short-lived as she dropped the title to Molly Holly just a month later. After just over a year in WWE, Kim was cut from the promotion in late 2004. It was after this that she would go to TNA and become the industry-shifting icon she is today.

Despite her numerous accolades outside of WWE, her debut title victory remains her only reign in the promotion. And considering that Kim isn't the WWE's biggest fan these days, we can safely assume this is how things will stay.
