20 Things We Need To See From Lucha Underground Season 2

15. Long Shot, But … Último Dragón

If you guys are regular readers of my articles, you're no doubt already sick of reading about my favorite WCW cruiserweight, but bear with me here. The Dragón's secret origin as a Japanese dude who somehow learned how to throw planchas from Bruce Lee is the most Lucha Underground thing ever.

Plus, there's a number of ways to work him into the Temple's mythology. Perhaps he's a member of some kind of Dragon Clan alongside Drago and El Dragón Azteca. He had a hand in training Angélico, maybe he's here to help his former pupil refocus. Or, perhaps he had another pupil: Pentagón Jr. was hated by his peers in Mexico, and was forced to go to Japan to learn an ancient style of wrestling karate. Who would have more sympathy for such a story than a Japanese man who had to travel to Mexico to get his start?
