20 Weirdest Non-WWE Product Endorsements

18. Foot Locker With Mark Henry

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPnBJ4oJ2Sk Before signing on with Vince McMahon, Mark Henry was an Olympic-class athlete specializing in powerlifting, earning him the moniker "The World's Strongest Man." As such, it makes a certain amount of sense that someone would want to have such an athlete endorse their product, but would you have ever guessed that he was chosen to endorse a basketball contest? One look at the chief inductor of people into the Hall of Pain today would likely lead people to believe that the WSM would be anything but at home on the basketball court, but that wasn't so back in 1994. There, he was not only selected to partake in a slam dunk contest presented by his sponsors at Foot Locker, but the nearly 400-pound athlete did actually dunk the ball, too. "WWF and Foot Locker were my sponsors at the time," Henry recalls in an interview with Bleacher Report. "I endorsed those two products and, pretty much, those are the only two products I ever endorsed. I stayed away from many things because I wanted to actually use the things I market. A lot of people don't take honor and pride in that, but I do."
