20 Wrestling Gimmicks That Got WEIRD Rip-Offs

13. Razor Ramon (Razor Revolution)

Say hello to the 'Baddest Guy'.

Canadian independent worker Scott Davidson decided in 2007 that enough was enough, it was time for a change. No, he didn't become an Owen Hart knock off. He became a Razor Ramon one instead. Renaming himself Razor Revolution was one thing, but Davidson literally began dressing up in the same Razor trunks Scott Hall once wore, and he even had the teased curl dangling down his forehead.

The Revolution is still going strong. Razor even caught the eye of future WWE stars like Kevin Owens - KO has spoken about bumping into Revolution on the indy scene before reaching the big time, and even he's staggered by the sheer balls it took to mimic such a famous character in such a Wish.com way.

Surely Razor would be more at home on WWF/WWE tribute shows, no?! That's not how he rolls. Mr. Revolution positions himself as a serious act who works for groups like Wrestling In Canada, QCW, Canadian Professional Wrestling International and more. He even goes so far as to use the Razor's Edge as a finisher. Come on!

No Revolution match is complete without a fall away slam or two either. Here's hoping he tosses a toothpick into someone's eyes right before the bell sounds so he can get the hop on opponents and start beating them down in the corner. It's pretty crazy that someone is so upfront and honest about being a knock off, crappier version of Razor Ramon.

Owens needs to bring him in for a one off WWE match. Maybe not.
