19. The Miz Is The Marine (The Marine 3: Homefront, 2013)
When it was time to cast the lead in the third instalment of WWE's The Marine franchise, the company opted to go with real-life ex-Marine Randy Orton. Unfortunately, what the WWE Studios decision-makers didn't realize (or didn't care about addressing) was the fact that Orton was given a dishonorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps. The upshot was that they had to drop him due to protests from the group, and in his stead WWE cast The Miz. The Miz is many things, but needless to say, he doesn't present the aura of toughness that people associate with the U.S. Marines or the kind of calm bad-ass attitude fans want to see in their action movie stars. The result is that The Miz made for least convincing Marine lead yet (yes, even including Ted DiBiase). He was still invited back for The Marine 4: Moving Target, though.
