9. The Warrior Lives In Hulk Hogan's Mirror
It's pretty well-known that The Warrior was only brought into WCW in 1998 to repay a favour to Hulk Hogan. Years prior at the WWF's WrestleMania VI, Warrior had defeated Hulk to win the WWF Title. Now, Hogan wanted a rematch, and this time the result would be different. Sadly, both men were shadows of their former selves by '98. Hogan was still a big deal, and fans desperately wanted to see The Ultimate Warrior of old, but it never happened. In the build up to a match between the duo at Halloween Havoc, things really got crazy. During a backstage segment on Nitro, Hogan started freaking out by what he could see in his mirror. It was Warrior, and Hulk reasoned that he must be seeing things. Eric Bischoff, who was with Hogan during the skit, claimed he couldn't see a thing. There was one major flaw with the writing here, fans watching at home could see what Hogan was seeing. This meant they must have been nuts too, or maybe it was Bischoff. It was convoluted beyond belief, and entirely unnecessary. Fans already understood why Warrior vs. Hogan was happening, they didn't need this hammy story.
