2017 WWE Superstar Shake-Up Ranked - From Worst To Best

11. Mickie James

Mickie James was thrust into a RAW Women’s Championship match against Alexa Bliss at WWE TLC, but nobody believed she had a chance of winning the belt. Mickie had barely been booked since making the move to the flagship show in April, wrestling just six matches on Monday nights before her pay-per-view title challenge.

Mickie lost almost all of them as well, her sole wins coming against Emma in August and a DQ victory over Nia Jax three weeks before TLC. Even Emma, who’s sole character trait in 2017 was ‘I don’t get booked on TV’, had more matches on RAW than the six-time champion.

Mickie James is a fantastic performer to have around the division, and she will undoubtedly prove her worth on the flagship show over the coming months. It is difficult to expect more from someone who is so clearly positioned as past their prime, however untrue that may be.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
