Sin Cara has been thrust back into the spotlight recently with a truly out-of-nowhere feud with Baron Corbin, but even the most enthusiastic lucha fan will guess that the story finishes with an End of Days and a W for 'The Lone Wolf'. Sin Cara is filling a space for the time being.

When the Corbin feud is over, what will become of Sin Cara? The masked man has done very little since moving to SmackDown in April, and one must assume that ‘very little’ is what the WWE creative team currently has penned in for his future. The man under the mask is an underrated performer, but the character has run its course.

In 10 years time, the Sin Cara experiment will be looked back on as one of the biggest flops in modern WWE history. This isn’t the fault of Hunico of course - the damage was done before he donned the mask back in December 2013. At this point, it really doesn’t matter what brand Sin Cara is on.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
