21 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (August 30)

Since making her way back to NXT for a slight character re-tweak, the formerly lovable Emma who did a goofy dance and just wanted to have fun has now developed some attitude. In this past week's NXT from Brooklyn, which was the stuff they pre-taped before the recent TakeOver special, she made sure to bring that attitude into her fourway match against Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke, and Charlotte.

The gif above shows Emma running full steam ahead with her signature crossbody into the corner. She then drags Becky away to cover her. What happens immediately after this is a very anticlimactic end to this match, so much so that Emma gives a very confused glance to the referee.

One theory I've heard is that Dana Brooke was supposed to break up the fall but was out of position. But considering much impact can be incurred in this move, maybe she simply sent Lynch a little loopy. Either way, this normally very simple trademark move became a finisher on this night.
