Night of Champions is just a couple of days away. Excitement is surprisingly hight for the event, mainly down to the appearance of Sting and the intrigue over whether or not he will actually do what many people thought he never would and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Raw saw the face painted legend step between the ropes for a tag match against Seth Rollins and the Big Show, which gave an overall poor show (which drew a disappointingly low rating) some air of importance at the end of it. There was still, however, another 'go-home' show to get through with this week's Smackdown. Smackdown has hardly been can't-miss in what seems like forever, trotting out the same tired matches and doing very little to further the major angles. This show was no different, with a bunch of short matches, unremarkable matches and no real surprises. Fortunately, there were some amusing moments, as well as plenty of typical WWE universe randomness that just makes you go 'WTF?'.

But where the hell is Sister Abigail? Fair play to Reggie, seizing the moment and getting his sign on camera like that. You've done well, mate.
