The Smackdown signature (and its Raw equivalent) has always signalled the end of the show, regardless of shenanigans taking place in and around the ring. Many a wild brawl has been cut off by the end of the show, a fact accepted by fans due to the appearance of that official-looking logo. Smackdown surprisingly broke the mould this week. With Reigns standing tall after conquering Rusev, the signature appeared and Phillips began to sign off...only for Bray Wyatt's creepy static to crackle into life. The heel appeared on the TitanTron to accept Reigns' earlier SummerSlam challenge, a promo made all the more ominous by the fact that he seemed to have legitimately halted the end of the official broadcast.
