On first glance, paying Dennis Rodman over a million dollars for a few appearances is ridiculous. But then again, consider how the WWF benefited from paying Mike Tyson or Floyd Mayweather millions come to in. Sometimes celebrity usage can work in pro wrestling. Rodman was a major celebrity, a famed player in the NBA's Chicago Bulls. But did he really add anything to WCW? The lack of business success seems to suggest not. Plus, he was terrible in the ring. He wrestled Randy Savage at Road Wild 1999, in a match nobody wanted to see. The eleventh highest earner in WCW history for barely any work? It isn't right.
