Whether he was working as Jim Evans or Trevor Adonis, this Texan tough guy was well-regarded as a workmanlike pro. At one point, he formed a tag-team with Jim Neidhart (that might explain the pink and black look he rocked in the early-90s).

Evans/Adonis was a stalwart of TV job matches in both the WWF and AWA between 1987-1992 before taking a break from the ring to work as a booker. He sadly passed on New Year's Day.
