25 Best Moments Of WWE Monday Night RAW (Year-By-Year)

9. 2009: "The Summerfest"

We got nothing.

This year of WWE, frankly, sucked for TV, and for RAW especially. This was when they were knee-deep in the guest host era, and the show just became a tacky grab bag of bad celebrity cameos.

Of course, tacky grab bags are where we find our most beloved cringeworthy moments, and Mr. Jeremy Piven was that crap-covered diamond in the rough. In a segment that also featured Dr. Ken (because what cavalcade of cringe would be complete without him?), Piven threatened to ban Miz from "The Summer Fest," obviously referring to SummerSlam, and obviously not bothering to look at his script for more than a few seconds before going onscreen.

"The Summer Fest" has of course become a fan favorite to ironically refer to SummerSlam, and it's become a catchphrase that has encapsulated all that was wrong with the Guest Host era of RAW: use of guests hosts who knew nothing about the product.

Sorry if you were wanting something good, but 2009 isn't where you wanna look.
